WHAT IS KIN?

A retreat for mothers and daughters aged 14 and over (with no maximum age).

Each day unfolds with the perfect mix of slow mornings, shared meals, soul-nourishing conversations and a few fun-filled adventures that will have you laughing like you haven’t in years.

You’ll leave feeling lighter, closer and more grounded in each other, with memories that stretch far beyond the island.

We’re Shez and Kell - founders of SheKan and perhaps more importantly for this retreat, mums to four teenage girls.

Shez has Mia (19) and Ruby (18). Kell has Macy (16) and Evie (14).

We know the beautiful chaos of raising daughters - the love, the learning, the letting go. We also know how easy it is to slip into the role of “mum” and forget that underneath it all, you’re a woman too… one with dreams, stories and a heart that needs space to breathe.

KIN was born from that knowing. It’s the retreat we wish we’d had - a week to reconnect, to see each other with new eyes and to have a damn good time while doing it.
